How is Pello Caffe made?

Everything in the process of making our coffee is transparent – from the place of origin of the seeds, through time and harvesting methods, to bean selection and roasting technique. We believe that choosing the right raw material combined with the best craftsmanship traditions results in a unique, balanced taste and aroma.

According to our philosophy, Pello Caffe comes exclusively from plantations that meet Rainforest Alliance and Direct Trade environmental and ethical standards. We buy it at market prices, without an auction system, from regular suppliers who guarantee decent working conditions for their employees. For each batch of coffee, we first import samples to Poland, which we roast and evaluate. If they meet our standards, we order a selected batch of beans to our roasting plant.

The heart of the Pello Caffe is a professional furnace for roasting coffee. It is there, under the supervision of an experienced Master Roaster, that the process takes place, which results in perfectly roasted beans. Craft roasting of beans is done much more slowly and at a lower temperature than during industrial production.

Coffee roasting process

For our products, we have chosen Arabica from Brazil and robusta from India. It's a coffee with a distinctive aroma of cocoa, chocolate, molasses, and caramel.

It is in this furnace, under the supervision of an experienced Master Roaster, the whole process takes place. As a result, we obtain perfectly roasted beans. The craft roasting of beans is done much slower and at a lower temperature than during industrial-scale production. The beans are roasted to a matte, cocoa color – so the fat, which is a carrier of taste and aroma, remains inside and is released only during coffee brewing.

After leaving the furnace, Pello Caffe is immediately packed into packages and sent to the customer. We do not store coffee in warehouses, so when you buy Pello Caffe, you can be sure that you get a fresh product of the highest quality.
